Episode 36: Honing in on Productivity

Productivity is that shiny goal we’re always chasing. “I must do ALL the things in as little time as possible!” Productivity is so sexy that new methods for getting things done pop up seemingly every week. A new method, a new planner, a new product, a new mindset. There’s an entire cottage industry dedicated to checking things off your to-do list. (Or heck, even being productive without a to-do list at all!)

But productivity methods can quickly turn into diets—fads that fade away in favor of core principles that are actually effective.

In this episode of YHBTV, Sharon and I dispelled a few myths and offered a few guidelines on how to hone in—”honing” being the operative word—on your own productivity and accepting what works best for you.
