Q: Tell us a little bit about yourself and your business: I run several businesses:

Unanimous Craft: I'm organizing the crafty community and sharing resources. Find craft shows in your area, social networking tips and more.

EtsySaver: A site where Etsy shop owners can promote their discount codes.

Ugly Baby: My husband and I make Shower Art - waterproof art you can hang in your shower with a suction cup. Or anywhere else. We're no dictators.

Ugly Baby and La Ru: My retail brick n' mortar shop in the Pike Place Market. I run it with Lauren Rudeck from La Ru. We sell our own art work as well as DIY craft kits made by indie artists.

Q: What are your favorite materials to work with? I love glitter most of all.

Q: Who inspires you? Crazies. Mental cases. Weirdos.

Q: Name three guilty pleasures of yours:

Jersey Shore
German Board Games
Glitter

Q: What is your favorite part of being a maker or supporting makers? I love the indie craft community and have been so inspired watching it grow up these last ten years or so. That said, the freedom of being a maker really can't be beat.

Q: As a professional in the booming handmade economy, what part of your work do you find most difficult? Working alone. I miss co-workers. I often have groups of friends over who also work for themselves and we just get down to business in the same space. It's nice to have a little company.

Q: What drives your creative process? Much of the work I am most proud of comes from stream of consciousness. I just let my brain go and see where on earth it leads me. Sometimes terrifying... but normally hilarious.

Q: Where can people find your stuff?
